Intubate
dogs with endotracheal tube to ensure patent airway
(Figure 1).

Use
size 608 1/2, depending on size of dog (Figure 2).

Secure
a rubber band around the tube, then around the dog's
muzzle (Figure 3).
-
Inflate
cuff with air using a 12 ml syringe (Figure 4).
